In a world overflowing with wellness trends, retreats and conflicting advice, TH7 is quietly and confidently changing the game.
TH7 is a purpose-built wellness space grounded in science, designed with intention and created for real people who want to feel better, live longer and perform at their best.
For TH7, wellness isn’t a reaction to burnout or illness. It’s a daily practice. A choice. It’s about creating routines that support your nervous system, boost recovery and help you show up as your best self, not just once in a while, but consistently.
“We believe in living well for longer,” says Tom Harvey, co-founder and Director. “And that starts with doing things that actually work.”
A New Definition of Wellness
Everything TH7 offers is backed by science, delivered through carefully designed protocols and supported by a team that’s committed to giving every client a world-class experience. Their three core values of science, education and community are at the heart of everything they do.
On the science front, they’re deeply invested in the concept of hormetic stress, controlled bursts of heat or cold that prompt the body to adapt and grow stronger, while triggering a recovery response that boosts mood, improves circulation, supports cardiovascular health, regulates your nervous system, and helps the body adapt without burning out. They’ve spent months perfecting their contrast therapy protocols to get the timing, temperature and sequence just right.
Education is equally important. TH7 takes pride in turning complex research into clear, digestible insights. “We call it snackable science,” says Tom “It’s education that’s practical, clear and empowering.”
The community is what ties it all together. TH7 welcomes everyone, from teenagers to those in their seventies, from elite athletes to everyday people looking to feel better. “What unites our clients is a shared goal to feel better, perform better and live longer,” Tom explains. “We want people to feel seen, supported and part of something bigger.”
Filling a Gap in the Industry
When the founders of TH7 looked at the wellness space, they saw a gap. Tools like saunas and red light therapy were already out there, but access was limited, quality was inconsistent and most spaces catered only to athletes or luxury clientele.
“We built TH7 to change that,” Tom says. “We wanted to make science-backed recovery tools available to everyone, no matter their goals.”
From the moment you step inside TH7, you feel it. This is a space designed for recovery, not rush. It’s not a gym, it’s not a spa and it’s far from clinical. TH7 calls it a “third space”, warm, open, purpose-built to support healing and wellness without overwhelm.
Their in-house team, TH7 HomeLabs, designs and builds the saunas, steam rooms and cold plunge pools to ensure everything meets their exacting standards for safety, hygiene and experience. “It’s about quality control,” Tom explains. “We want it to be as safe, clean and powerful as it is enjoyable.”
A Role in Public Health and Community Wellbeing
Beyond personal recovery, TH7 sees itself as part of a bigger movement. Making proactive, preventive health care part of everyday life.
From improving sleep and reducing stress to increasing resilience and supporting long-term health, TH7 is offering tools that are not just helpful but also essential. “People deserve tools that work and a space they actually want to visit,” Tom says.
The Nordic Protocol
Inspired by traditions from Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden and refined by modern science, the ‘Nordic’ is a multi-step experience combining sauna, steam, contrast pools and cold immersion into one powerful, structured session.
It’s effective, accessible and deeply restorative. Whether you’re a seasoned high-performer or new to the world of recovery, the Nordic Protocol meets you where you’re at and elevates from there.
The Science Behind the Sessions
The results speak for themselves, but so does the data. Take sauna use for example, a Finnish study spanning 20 years found that using a sauna 4-7 times a week can reduce cardiovascular disease risk by 50% and Alzheimer’s by 65%. While cold exposure can increase dopamine levels by over 250% and its effects lasting hours, drop cortisol, the main body’s stress hormone, by 34%.
These numbers aren’t just impressive, they directly inform how TH7 designs its sessions. “We’re obsessed with the research,” says Tom. “And we’re constantly evolving as new studies come out.”

More Demand Than They Ever Expected
Since launching, TH7 has been surprised and humbled by the demand.
They originally thought athletes would be their main audience. But today, their most consistent clients include high-performing professionals, new parents and everyday people just trying to find a better balance.
“Everyone’s looking for a way to feel better and get that edge back,” Tom says. “We’re here for that.”
So, how do they want you to feel when you walk out the doors? “Reset, recharged, and ready.” That’s the TH7 promise. A session that does something meaningful for both your body and your mind, something that lasts long after you leave.
Looking Ahead: Growth, Innovation, and Big Plans
The future at TH7 looks bright and busy with the introduction of their latest location in Newstead. They’re expanding across Queensland with new locations in Cleveland, the Gold Coast, and Brisbane Northside, and looking to launch their first interstate clinics in Sydney and Melbourne.
And in 2026 you will be able to visit their new Nordic-only clinic. A private space for solo or group sessions rooted in sauna, steam and contrast therapy. “We’re super excited about the growth,” says Tom. “But we’re also making sure every new space lives up to the TH7 standard.”
