In Motion: NAGNATA in the Noosa Hinterland

An autumn afternoon in the Noosa Hinterland shaped by motion, conversation and rhythm.

On Thursday 19 February, NAGNATA hosted an intimate gathering in the Noosa hinterland at the breathtaking Casa Renoir, bringing together movement, sound and a considered sense of place.

Surrounded by rolling greenery, Italian inspired architecture and handcrafted stone details set a quiet tone for the afternoon. The setting felt intentional rather than styled. A space designed to slow the pace, where sustainability and simplicity are embedded into the experience rather than articulated.

Guests arrived in an environment shaped by the rhythm of the hinterland itself, humming energy, smiles and colour contrasts we are all dreaming of this Autumn.

Health and presence are inseparable. The way we move through life should feel effortless, considered, and unapologetically you.

Conversations gathered organically amongst familiar faces and new connections beside the magnesium pool lagoon as mineral rich water caught the late afternoon light. A steady cascade of spring water into the pool created a natural focal point, drawing attention without interruption. Refreshments were restorative and understated, with a nourishing spread by Organika Noosa, Loco Love Chocolates and SOL Cleanse juices supporting the atmosphere without overtaking it.

The afternoon opened with reflections from founders and creative directors of NAGNATA Laura May Gibbs and Hannah Stenmark, who spoke to the importance of fibre, non toxic materials and movement as a daily practice. Alongside them, Hayley Bonham acknowledged the role of place as an active participant in the gathering. More than a backdrop, the environment shaped how guests moved, paused and connected throughout the afternoon. The space was described as a sanctuary for creativity, connection and conscious living; a setting beautifully aligned with the values NAGNATA holds.

Stefani Cantelmi guided guests through a sound healing session that set the tone for the movement that followed which was supported by
hope water . A pilates inspired yoga flow unfolded at the edge of the lagoon, with movements that favoured control, softness and awareness over performance. Across the water, live music by Kel Elsom (aka DE SAINT) filtered through the space, her voice and instrumentation blending with the sound of running water and the surrounding landscape. The experience felt collective without spectacle. A shared moment grounded in environment and presence.

As the light shifted toward golden hour, the afternoon transitioned naturally into conversation. Guests moved freely through the space, sharing food provided by local makers and exploring the grounds at an unhurried pace. The close of the gathering mirrored its beginning, informal and deliberate.

Guests departed with considered offerings from The Beauty Chef, Golden Groves Oil, Havaianas and Sodii, extending the tone of the afternoon beyond the setting itself.

Rather than positioning products and the new NAGNATA release at the centre, the gathering reflected a broader shift within fashion and wellness toward experiences that prioritise how clothing, movement and environment intersect in everyday life. In the Noosa hinterland, those ideas were not explained. They were practiced.

What the paper mâché magazine editors are wearing this Autumn

This season the paper mâché magazine’s editors are looking forward to favouring layers, natural tones and relaxed silhouettes. With the new release ‘movement 20 by NAGNATA being launched we have curated the must haves to complete our weekly fits. We are so excited to be bringing in some blazers again, now that the summer heat is coming to an end. Natural wools, neutral tones, soft denim and sophisticated statement tops is exactly how we would describe our autumn style.
