Australian boutique label by Designer Lottie Hall, known for its artful, seasonless pieces and signature hand-drawn prints. Each style is a keepsake in wearable form.
Lottie Hall, the creative force behind her namesake label, has built a fashion brand that is unmistakably her own. Known for her distinctive, art-driven prints, Lottie is just as much about visual storytelling as she is about trend-setting clothing. Every print is designed by Lottie herself, giving the label a deeply personal, signature aesthetic.
Her journey began straight after high school, when she enrolled in fashion design at RMIT in Melbourne. Two years into her studies, she landed a role as an assistant designer for a brand she admired, setting her on a path through the fashion industry. Gaining hands-on experience across several labels, she honed her skills before stepping out on her own.
Lottie’s passion for individuality traces back to her teenage years, when she would sew her own outfits for parties and underage discos, driven by a desire to express her uniqueness through clothing. That same creative spirit is what still fuels her brand today.
At the core of her design process lies the print. “It’s definitely about creating the print or art work idea first then considering the right styles to flatter and make the print wearable,” she says. This interplay of art and form is what defines the Lottie Hall identity.
Much of the brand’s magic stems from a deeply personal process. Lottie designs, coordinates and runs most aspects of the business herself. From the initial concept to the finished product, she is hands-on at every stage, with her partner Jock lending advice and her best friend Tess Leopold capturing the brand’s essence through photography.
Among her many creations, the Lumeria Dress stands out as a pivotal moment. Bold and unexpected, it drew international attention and gave her the validation to trust her instincts and lean further into risk-taking and personal creativity.
Central to her business philosophy is dedication to a signature look. “My strategy has always been to have a signature look and don’t budge on that,” she says. Staying true to the brands ethos, rather than chasing trends, has not only set Lottie Hall apart in a crowded market but solidifies its place as a unique and consistent voice in fashion.
Her goals have shifted over time, now centred more on building a sustainable, values-driven business rather than chasing fame or celebrity endorsements. While seeing her pieces in major stores or on influential figures would be a thrill, her true fulfilment comes from knowing her designs resonate with her customers. As long as the brand brings joy to its community and operates successfully, that’s the kind of success she’s happy with.
Growing the label more sustainably remains her driving force. Sourcing better fabrications, reducing environmental impact and aligning her processes with conscious values are where her energy is most focused. Lottie’s resilience and outlook fuel the engine behind the label. She’s someone who runs on minimal sleep, maximum positivity and an unwavering sense of rhythm, in both life and in her impeccable taste in music, if she says so herself.
She draws inspiration from other creative women, particularly mothers juggling their craft with parenthood. These women, she says, are superhuman in her eyes. Her world is also rich with creative friends who are doers, energising her with their own passion and momentum.
When it comes to personal style, Lottie keeps things effortlessly cool. Her go-to fashion accessory, a pair of Miu Miu sunglasses. A statement piece that reflects her artistic sensibility and love of bold simplicity.
Beyond fashion, Lottie continues to explore new creative mediums. One of her favourite recent collaborations is with Gentle Habits, a collection of incense that she describes as “a little piece of art for your home,” scented with the essence of Byron Bay.
Outside the studio, Lottie recharges by spending time with loved ones. Whether it’s beach days, shared meals, or simply enjoying the moment, she finds joy in connection and presence, an ethos that echoes throughout her brand.

About Lottie Hall —
Lottie Hall is a fashion brand founded by Lottie Hall, who studied Fashion Design at RMIT and gained experience working for Australia’s top labels. With a vision that began with leather, art and a surf-inspired vibe, the brand gained international attention after creating the iconic Lumeria Dress. Lottie’s hand-drawn prints became the brand’s signature, reflecting its creative individuality.
Now based in Byron Bay, the brand operates as a trans-seasonal, print-focused label, offering limited-edition pieces online and at select stockists. Each garment is a wearable art piece, featuring Lottie’s artwork through prints or embroidery. Handmade in small quantities of just 30-50 pieces per style in Bali, the brand uses natural, sustainable fabrics and ships orders plastic-free.
